foptics started with a simple question: why should stylish eyewear be so expensive?
While studying at university, our founder Ray noticed his eyesight beginning to change. When he started looking for his first pair of prescription glasses, he found himself choosing between affordable frames that lacked style and fashionable designs that came with a high price tag.
That experience inspired the creation of foptics: to make well-designed, quality eyewear accessible to everyone.

What started as a small idea in Singapore in 2018 has grown into a community of thousands who believe eyewear should be stylish, accessible, and personal.
From our first store to five locations across Singapore, we’ve grown alongside thousands of customers who trust us with their everyday eyewear needs. Today, we’re excited to bring the same experience to more communities beyond our home.
