What are myopia control lenses?

Childhood myopia can become stronger as the eye continues to grow. Managing its progression early may help reduce the likelihood of developing higher levels of myopia later in life.

Myopia control lenses are specialised prescription lenses designed for children with myopia, or short-sightedness. Unlike standard prescription glasses, which focus primarily on providing clear vision, myopia control lenses are designed with both clear vision and myopia management in mind.

How Do Essilor Stellest™ Lenses Work?

Essilor Stellest™ Lenses use Highly Aspherical Lenslet Target (H.A.L.T.) technology to create a specific optical signal in front of the retina while providing clear central vision.

This technology is designed to help slow the progression of myopia while allowing children to see clearly for everyday activities.

What’s New with Stellest™ 2.0?

Stellest™ 2.0 takes H.A.L.T. technology further with H.A.L.T. MAX™, featuring lenslets with increased power and asphericity.
